<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator promoting replacement when reaching the end of a service life in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A storage part stores a cumulative passage time since a power source of the refrigerator 1 is turned on. The passage time stored in the storage part is transmitted to an external server 64 via a communication line 63. The external server 64 calculates a discount rate at the time of replacement based on the received passage time, and transmits the discount rate and future transition of the discount rate to the refrigerator 1 as discount rate information.
