PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight sorter which can perform weight sorting of articles to be inspected, with high accuracy without impairing working efficiency. SOLUTION: The weight sorter 1 includes a measuring belt conveyor 3 which conveys the articles to be inspected 5 and measures the weight of the articles to be inspected 5, decides based on the measurement results by the measuring belt conveyor 3 whether or not the article to be inspected 5 is within the proper weight range, and sorts the articles to be inspected 5 based on the decision results into articles within a proper weight range and articles out of the proper weight range. The weight sorter 1 also includes an operation setting display device 17 for setting a minimum value of measurement data obtained by carrying out a sample test operation mode where a plurality of sample articles to be inspected 5' are measured by the measuring belt conveyor 3 and are decided to be within the proper weight range by static measurement, at a lower limit value of the proper weight range, and setting a maximum value of the measurement data at an upper limit value of the proper weight range.
