<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet handing device allowing improvement of correction amount of paper sheets. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This paper sheet handing device includes a conveying passage 3 for conveying the paper sheets P one by one by a feed roller 5 and a gate roller 6, etc., a storing part 4 for accumulating and storing the paper sheets P conveyed from the conveying passage 3 in a thickness direction, impellers 12A to 12H for delivering the paper sheets P from the conveying passage 3 to the storing part 4 together with the feed roller 5 and the gate roller 6 and imparting force of the accumulating direction to the paper sheets P delivered to the storing part 4, and aligning guides 16A and 16B provided at both the outside of a passage width direction in the storing part 4 and having inclined faces 18 for gradually reducing the passage width in the accumulating direction of the paper sheets P. The impellers 12A and 12H for aligning are arranged at the passage width direction outside positions corresponding to the aligning guides 16A and 16B.
