发明名称 FILAMENT CONDUCTEUR D'ELECTRICITE
摘要
1352947 Conductive fibre; yarns TEIJIN Ltd 19 April 1971 [10 March 1970] 23642/71 Headings D1K D1P and D1W [Also in Division B2] An electrically conducting fibre is obtained by applying as a coating on the surface of a 5 to 50 denier fibre substrate of a synthetic organic polymer of paste comprising an acrylonitrile/butadiene copolymer, a phenolic resin compatible therewith, a finely divided electrically conductive material, a voltatile organic solvent for the acrylonitrile/butadiene copolymer and the phenolic resin and, optionally, one or more curing agents, viscosity-increasing agents and/or antioxidants, applying to the coated substrate 0.3-20% (of the final weight of the fibre) of the polyisocyanate of low molecular weight and heating the coated substrate to cure the coating. The fibres may be obtained from polyamides, particularly polycapromide and polyhexamethylene adipamide and synthetic linear polyesters such as polyethylene terephthalate, polyacrylonitrile, polyvinyl acetyl and polyimides. The acrylonitrile/butadiene copolymer may contain 25-45% of acrylonitrile. The phenolic resin is preferably oilsoluble. Suitable materials are phenolic resins modified with natural resins such as rosin with natural oil such as cashew nut shell oil and pre-condensates of formaldehyde with a phenol may be substituted, for example with a t-butyl, t-amyl, phenyl or cyclohexyl groups. The finely-divided conductive material may be metal powder such as gold, platinum, aluminium, copper, nickel or tungsten or carbon such as finely divided graphite and electrically conductive blacks such as acetylene carbon black, conductive furnace black and conductive channel black, and the particle size is preferably not more than 0.5 microns. A viscosityincreasing component such as a coumaroneindene resin or an antioxidant may be present. The coating composition may be applied by immersion, coating or spraying. Suitable solvents for the coating composition are listed. Many suitable polyisocyanate compounds are also given. The polyisocyanate may be applied immediately after the coating composition is applied to the fibre, or after it has been dried for form a solid layer. It may be applied by immersion, spraying or coating and it may be in solution in an organic solvent of which many are listed. Textile materials composed of normal organic textile fibres and a small proportion, even less than 2%, of the conductive fibres have durable anti-static properties. The conductive fibre and the organic textile fibres may be associated by mixed spinning, mixed twisting, mixed weaving, mixed knitting or any other suitable technique. The former need not be necessarily distributed evenly in the latter. Carpet yarns, weaving or knitting yarns, or sewing threads can be first mixed with the conductive fibre and then tufting, weaving, knitting or sewing carried out with a mixture.
