<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To work the surface of a die having three-dimensional shape deeply and uniformly. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A softened sheet is formed by softening a printed sheet on which the pattern of a shape to be worked is formed. After adhering the softened sheet closely to a die 2 after working into a die shape or the surface of the die having the same shape as the die, the sheet is hardened and a three dimensional masking having a three-dimensional shape is formed. The three-dimensional masking is adhered to the die 2 on which the resist film is formed, the pattern of the shape to be worked is transferred to the resist film by exposure and developed, and the unnecessary surfaces of the die are removed with etchant 5 which is jetted from a plurality of nozzles.
