<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latching tool for a container with superior operability even if it is placed in a narrow space in regard to a latching tool for latching the body of a container and a cover body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A tabular latching part 2 is provided, rotatably supported to a shaft body 6 of the cover body 9 of an air cleaner case as the container, and an outer circumference face of the latching part 2 is formed in a shape of a Reuleaux triangle. A latching reception part 3 is provided on a body 8 of the air cleaner case. By rotating the latching part 2, an annular body 4 wound on the latching part 2 and the latching reception part 3 is changed from a relaxed state to a tension state.
