PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a global positioning system and dead reckoning (GPS&DR) integrated navigation system. SOLUTION: The navigation system comprises: a GPS receiver for being combined with a moving vehicle and periodically creating GPS navigation information of the moving vehicle; a DR system for being combined with the moving vehicle and periodically calculating DR navigation information; and a filter for being combined with the GPS receiver and the DR system and periodically calculating the navigation information of the moving vehicle. The filter acquires the observation information by integrating the GPS navigation information and the DR navigation information while following to the weighted value of the GPS navigation information and the weighted value of the DR navigation information. The present navigation information is calculated by integrating the observation information with preceding navigation information from a plurality of preceding cycles. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
