<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed braiding machine for braiding wires on the outer periphery of a core material, capable of increasing the traveling speed by allowing the carrier to travel smoothly along a groove-shaped circular track formed at the perimeter part of a face-plate, and providing little noise. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The high-speed braiding machine includes a horn gear 13 installed in each circular track 31 of the face plate 5 so as to be freely rotatable and installed on the upper side of the face plate 5; a plurality of guide hooks 19 formed on the periphery part of the horn gear 13; a carrier 8 having an induction pin 18 engaging with the guide hook 19 of the horn gear 13, an upper part base 16 and a lower part base 17 for nipping the induction pin 18, and two guide dowels 28 and 28 protruded from the separated positions on the lower surface of the lower part base 17. The induction pin 18 of each carrier 8 is engaged with the guide hook 19 of the rotating horn gear 13, and the two guide dowels 28 and 28 travel so as to cross in the opposite direction along the circular track 31 of the face-plate 5.
