PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of efficiently supplying the power used onboard a ship according to the purpose of use without separately providing any apparatus for power generation in a marine reduction and reverse gear provided with a generator for the inboard power supply. SOLUTION: The marine reduction and reverse gear 100 comprises an input shaft 1 for inputting the driving force of an engine 101, an output shaft 5 for reducing the speed and reversing the direction of the driving force and transmitting it to a screw 102, a first PTO output shaft 10 connected to a main generator 8 to output the driving force to the main generator 8, an intermediate shaft 12 for reversing the direction of the driving force and transmitting it to the output shaft 5, and a housing case 7 for supporting the input shaft 1, the output shaft 5, the first PTO output shaft 10, and the intermediate shaft 12. The input shaft 1 is arranged parallel to and between the first PTO output shaft 10 and the intermediate shaft 12, a second PTO output shaft 11 is provided parallel to the intermediate shaft 12 on the outer side of the housing case 7, and an auxiliary generator 9 for small power supply is connected to the second PTO output shaft 11.
