<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, equipped with an operation button unit capable of varying characters visually recognizable by a player, thus enabling the player to easily grasp the functions of the button even if a plurality of functions are provided in a single button. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The game machine 1 includes the operation button unit 200 that is operated by a player. The operation button unit 200 includes a button base part 250 having a base part opening part 245, a button cover part 225 engaged with the base part opening part 245 on which a plurality of translucent characters are drawn in different colors, and a light emitting member 284 to radiate light in similar color to that of each character drawn on the button cover part 225 to the back surface of the button cover part 225.
