PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reheating dry operation start controlling method for reheat type air conditioners and a reheat type air conditioner whereby the gas raw condition during the reheating dry operation in winter season can be prevented from happening. SOLUTION: The reheating dry operation start controlling method for reheat type air conditioners is composed of an outdoor unit having compressing means for sending out a high temperature and high pressure gas refrigerant, an outdoor heat exchanger and a fan for blowing air to this heat exchanger, an indoor unit and a control means for controlling the refrigerant circulating between the outdoor unit and the indoor unit. The control means, after executing the air heating operation in step S2, proceeds to step S3 of operating the outdoor heat exchanger as a condenser to execute the defrosting operation with the outdoor unit fan stopped, and then starts the reheating dry operation (step 5). |
