PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which acquires and delivers video and the multimedia content. SOLUTION: The method to acquire and deliver video and multimedia content includes a step of receiving a content download request from a user terminal; a step of determining whether the request is a local download or a remote-controlled download; a step of determining the content is directly delivered or is indirectly delivered, when the request is a remote-controlled download; and a step of establishing a communication link from a remote-controlled content server to the user terminal, delivers the requested content to the user terminal, confirms that it is has been delivered to the user terminal, and records the confirmed delivery, in either a local or a remote-controlled server database, when the delivery is carried out directly.
