<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress erroneous diagnosis in a failure diagnosis of a brake switch of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The failure diagnosis device of a brake switch is equipped with a first single diagnostic means 107 for separately diagnosing abnormality of a first brake switch SW1, a second single diagnostic means 108 for separately diagnosing abnormality of a second brake switch SW2, a mutual diagnostic means 109 for executing a mutual diagnosis of the first and second brake switches by detecting consistency or inconsistency of the output signals of the first and second brake switches, and a comprehensive diagnostic means 110 for determining the comprehensive diagnostic result of the first and second brake switches based on the diagnostic result by the first single diagnostic means 107, the second single diagnostic means 108, and the mutual diagnostic means 109. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
