PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device which does not disrupt an image recorded on a sheet while preventing paper jam of the sheet on a platen. SOLUTION: A printer part 11 comprises a platen 42 for supporting the recording sheet 90, a carriage 38 located to face to the platen 42 and moving to a reciprocating direction 105, a recording head 39 mounted on the carriage 38 for performing image recordation on the recording sheet 90, and a guide film 71 having a deformation part 80 which is fixed so as not to relative-move to the platen 42 by a fixing tool 65 and a roller 66, goes to the reciprocating direction 105 to face to the platen 42 in an area where the carriage 38 moves, and follows the movement of the carriage 38, and a facing part 81 which does not relative-move to the reciprocating direction 105 to the platen.
