<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate blur of a video image by generating a video image synchronized with the number of frames of a film video image. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The film video conversion apparatus is provided with: a film projection apparatus; a video capturing apparatus; a synchronization control part which uses a video synchronization signal corresponding to the number of frames of the video image to be generated per unit time by the video capturing apparatus to control the film projection apparatus so as to associate the number of frames of the film video image to be projected per unit time by the film projection apparatus with the number of frames of the video image to be generated per unit time by the video capturing apparatus, and to control the video capturing apparatus so as to capture the film video image of the film projection apparatus to be projected with the number of frames corresponding to the number of frames of the video capturing apparatus to generate the video image; and an image conversion part which converts and outputs a reproduction form of the video image generated by the video capturing apparatus.
