<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR cooler reducing costs by reducing the capacity of a device related to the EGR cooler and achieving miniaturization and reduction in weight of a vehicle mounted with the EGR cooler. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In an EGR device circulating a part of exhaust gas delivered from an internal combustion engine to the intake system of the internal combustion engine, the EGR cooler 11 cooling the exhaust gas to be circulated is provided with a filter layer 15 catching particulate matter contained in the exhaust gas to be circulated, and an endothermic reforming catalyst layer 17 inducing a reaction accompanying endothermic reaction with respect to the exhaust gas to be circulated. Further, the filter layer 15 and endothermic reforming catalyst layer 17 are located adjacently to each other through a heat conduction member 16, and the exhaust gas to be circulated flows through in the endothermic reforming catalyst layer 17 after having passed through the filter layer 15.
