<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device can control the residual quantity of rolled paper with low power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device using rolled paper includes: a first memory means provided in the image forming device, first memory means storing the information on the rolled paper; a second memory means provided in a member which can be fixed to the rolled paper, the second memory means storing the information on the rolled paper; and a writing means which reads the information on the rolled paper stored in the first memory means and the second memory means when the image forming device returns to a standby state from a power-saving state or power-off state, and writes the information on the second memory means in the first memory means when the information on the rolled paper is different. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
