<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article coated with a photocatalyst that exhibits the capacity of decomposing harmful gases while preventing the deterioration of its substrate for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The article coated with a photocatalyst including a substrate, an intermediate layer disposed on the substrate, and a photocatalyst layer disposed on the intermediate layer, is characterized in that the photocatalyst layer comprises photocatalyst particles including a metal oxide excited by ultraviolet rays, and the intermediate layer comprises a weather resistant resin and a hydroxyphenyltriazine compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
