<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmission method allowing a user of one-side terminal device to appropriately and rapidly confirm that an image transmitted from the one-side terminal device is surely received by the other-side terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: In this image transmission method, a camera 100 transmits image data and a server 300 receives main image data thereof (S108); and the server 300 generates proxy image data corresponding to the received image data (S110), detects a delay time of data transmission/reception (S106), adjusts the data volume thereof so that the longer the detected delay time is, the more the data volume of the generated proxy image data is reduced (S110), and transmits the proxy image data to the camera 100; and the camera 100 receives the proxy image data from the server 300 (S112). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
