<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system which quickly finds the failure of a storage battery capacity monitoring unit to stably carry out stand-by power-saving control. <P>SOLUTION: In the cogeneration system, power supply from a commercial power supply 1 is cut off to supply power from a storage battery 6 to a control microcomputer 10 under stand-by power-saving control. When the control microcomputer 10 is reset because of power shortage, a power supply supplying power to the control microcomputer 10 is automatically switched to the commercial power supply 1. Under stand-by power-saving control by power supply from the storage battery 6, if the control microcomputer 10 is repeatedly reset a prescribed number of times despite a fact that the storage battery capacity monitoring unit 7 monitoring stored power of the storage battery 6 detects a stored power at a given level or higher in the storage battery 6, the control microcomputer 10 detects the repeated resetting and determines the failure of the storage battery capacity monitoring unit 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
