EXPANDABLE POLYSTYRENE COMPOSITION

An expandable polystyrene composition is disclosed comprising :
(1) 100 parts by weight of a polymer of styrene having in particular a weight-average molecular mass Mw ranging from 150 000 to 600 000 daltons,
(2) from 2 to 20 parts by weight of at least one blowing agent, and
(3) from 5 to less than 25 parts by weight of a masterbatch wherein the masterbatch comprises a filler and a rubber. A particularly preferred filler is carbon black.
