A method for the surgical treatment of the cavern of the lower lobe comprises the resection of the ribs from paravertebral access, the generation and the filling of the extrapleural cavity with the biologically compatible material, and the suturing. The ribs located above, beneath and over the center of the cavern are resected. The collagen plates are used as the biologically compatible material for filling. Prior to suturing, the ventral parts of the anterior serrated and superior parts of the external oblique muscles of abdomen are connected with latissimus dorsi. Z-shaped suture is applied to the intercostal tissues in the areas of resection. |
