PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purge device which is produced easily with the minimum equipment investment and controls preferably the supply timing of a substituted gas. SOLUTION: An opening is formed in a base for placing a container thereon. An air gun for releasing a substituted gas is fixed in a condition where a pin fixed to its nozzle and trigger protrudes from the opening. When a container is placed with its spout downward on the base, the chip end of the pin is pressed against the top face of the container.
