PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing seal for a wheel and a bearing device for the wheel having the same, for reducing torque by reducing sliding resistance, by improving muddy water resistance in a seal. SOLUTION: This bearing device for the wheel is provided so that the seal 8 has core metal 15 fitted in an end part of an outer member 5 and a seal member 16 joined to this core metal, and this seal member 16 has integrally a side lip 16a, a dust lip 16b and a grease lip 16c slantingly extending outside in the radial direction, and a base part 6b of a wheel installing flange 6 is formed in a cross-sectional circular arc shape, and respective seal lips are slidingly contacted with this base part 6b via a predetermined interference. Interference and lip shapes are set so that among the side lip 16a and the dust lip 16b, reaction of the side lip 16a large in a contact diameter becomes smaller than reaction of the dust lip 16b, and the reaction of the dust lip 16b becomes smaller than reaction of the grease lip 16c.
