PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sufficient irradiation against a road surface in front of a vehicle without giving any glare to a driver of a forward driving vehicle and improve the visibility of the road. SOLUTION: Each of a left side lamp 30L and a right side lamp 30R is constituted such that they can selectively irradiate with either one of a left side additional light distributing pattern including an area above a cut-off line of a low-beam light distributing pattern and placed at a left side of a vertical line or a right side additional light distributing pattern including an area at the right side of the vertical line. A vehicle position detecting part 52 detects a position of forward driving vehicle. A sub-shade position determining part 54 controls the left side lamp 30L and the right side lamp 30R in such a way that it may irradiate with either one of the left side additional light distributing pattern or the right side additional light distributing pattern in response to a vehicle position detected by the vehicle position detecting part. The left side lamp 30L and the right side lamp 30R are provided with a shade for shielding a part of light emitted from a light source to form a light distributing pattern for a low beam.
