<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability and security, and to simplify a structure by securing a braking force appropriate for supplying oil pressure to a wheel cylinder even when a power supply unit fails in a braking device for a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The oil pressure is regulated by controlling a pressure control valve 50 according to the amount of brake operation of a brake pedal 15 so that the oil pressure can be supplied to wheel cylinders 25FR, 25FL, 25RR, 25RL. The oil pressure is regulated by controlling the pressure control valve 50 with the oil pressure output from a master cylinder 11 as a pilot pressure so that the oil pressure can be supplied to wheel cylinders 25RR, 25RL. A master cut valve 32 capable of opening and closing the first oil pressure piping 27 for supplying the oil pressure from the master cylinder 11 to the wheel cylinders 25FR, 25FL is provided.
