PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for a hand-held working tool, which contributes to both of improved operability during execution of machining work, and improved vibration-proof structure of a grip. SOLUTION: The hand-held working tool has a working tool body 103, the grip 109, and a connection portion 145 formed on one end of the grip 103, in a grip extending direction. The connection portion 145 is connected to the working tool body 103 via a vibration-proof elastic body 151. The hand-held working tool further has an electrical switch 161 for switching a motor 111 between an energized state and an energization canceled state, and an operating member 163 for changing over the electrical switch 161. The operating member 163 is arranged on the connection portion 145 in a manner to be slidable in a direction that crosses a major axis direction of the working tool body 103 and the grip 109 extending direction.
