PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove frequent speed changes (speed switching) that a cooling fan is turned to a low speed again immediately after turning it to a high speed in an equipment having a heat generator, a temperature sensor and the cooling fan and to reduce the generation of a sudden change in noise and load variation caused by frequent speed changes. SOLUTION: A CPU 12 executes speed control processing based on a cooling fan speed control program(FCP) stored in a memory 16 so as to reduce the speed of a cooling fan in accordance with the drop of temperature. At the lapse of fixed time or more from the final speed change of a cooling fan device 14, the cooling fan speed of the device 14 is switched to a slow speed.
