PURPOSE: A seat member elevation assembly is provided, which can drop the seat member compulsorily and can achieve simplification of configuration and energy-saving. CONSTITUTION: A seat member elevation assembly comprises a fixed frame(2) of the barrel shape in which the inside is empty; an elevating unit(3) which is combined with the fixed frame to be moved upward and downward, is combined with the seat member in order to be ascended and descended with the seat member, and is ascended with a sprocket when the sprocket is raised; and a descending unit(7) which drops the other end part of the chain compulsorily by pressing the elevating unit downward.
