PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant which can achieve any of: an effect which can keep a friction coefficient of magnetic recording medium face low; an effect which can reduce evaporation of the lubricant; an effect which can suppress migration of the lubricant by rotation of disk; or an effect which can enhance reliability, especially long-term reliability of the magnetic recording medium by suppressing intrusion of a volatile organic substance or the like. SOLUTION: The lubricant having large temperature dependence of viscosity is used. It is desirable to use a magnetic recording device which can heat a write object area and a read object area.
