This invention provides cholesterol absorption inhibitors of Formula (I), and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts and esters thereof. The compounds arc useful for lowering plasma cholesterol levels, particularly LDL cholesterol, and for treating and preventing atherosclerosis and atherosclerotic disease events.
