摘要 The nanoparticle coated rectangular honeycomb body (1) for thermal and/or catalytic cleaning of exhaust gas, comprises fluid channels (4), which are penetratable by a fluid (3) and have same quadratic cross sections. A portion of channel surface has a portion of fluid channel having a coating of catalytic active nanoparticles. The coating has a layer thickness of 50 mu m. The fluid channel in a cross-section of the honeycomb body has a thickness of 25-60 cpsi (cells per square inch), which corresponds to 3.5-9.5 of fluid channel per square centimeter. The honeycomb body has an edge length of 100-200 mm. A cross-section of the honeycomb body passes diagonally to the extension of the fluid channels. A side wall of a fluid channel forms a side wall of an adjoining fluid channel. The honeycomb body is formed as an extruded body.
