RNA-rutin cpds. (I) in which the rutin component is 8,8'-methylenebis(6-mono- or di-alkylaminomethyl)-rutin, 6,8-bis(di- or mono-alkylaminomethyl)-rutin, 6-(di- or mono-alkylaminomethyl)-rutin, or 8-(di- or mono-alkylaminomethyl)-rutin, are useful for treating nervous disorders and neuroses and to stimulate the brain and CNS. (I) may be prepd. in crystalline form by the interaction of the rutin deriv. and RNA in an aqs. solvent or diluent, and pptn. with an organic, water miscible solvent, e.g. acetone or isopropanol.
