PURPOSE: An auto-folding canopy apparatus is provided to fold or unfold the canopy according to situation by moving the canopy back and forth along the rail. CONSTITUTION: An auto-folding canopy apparatus comprises a main drive unit in which a sprocket wheel is installed, a chain unit which is connected to the sprocket wheel of a driven unit, top and bottom rails(160,160') which are installed on the ground, drive rollers(170,170') which rotate by contacting the top rail, and a canopy frame along which a canopy(230) is moved back and forth.
