PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus is provided to reduce influence to the image of the ghost light generated in a chamfer part of a multiple rotary mirrors. CONSTITUTION: Multiple rotary mirrors inject light from light source to be reflected from a deflecting side. A plurality of fluxes on the different photoconductor a plurality of imaging optical systems is composed in order to respectively focus the image. A synchronization detector detects the synchronization light flux for deciding the register start timing of image. The synchronization detector detects the light flux coming out from the optical source section excepting the optical source section irradiating the light flux to form the image on the photoconductor of the black color. Each deflecting surface of the polygonal rotating mirror comprises a rounding cutting part. |
