PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent a dark spot by removing a part of a surface layer of a partition through an oxygen plasma process. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting device includes a first electrode(8a), a second electrode(8e), and a carrier transport layer(8b). The partition surrounds one side of the first electrode or more and includes polyimide resin material. The surface layer of the partition is removed by the plasma process with the thickness of 50 nm to 1 um. The carrier transport layer is formed on the first electrode. The carrier transport layer is contacted with the partition. The carrier transport layer includes the transition metal oxide.
