PURPOSE: An engine generator with a hard frame member of high rigidity is provided to prevent a vertical frame toward the width direction of the engine generator by connecting two lower ends of the vertical frame to a bottom cover. CONSTITUTION: An engine generator comprises an engine/generator unit, an electrical component unit, a case, a bottom cover(25), a vertical frame wall and a center frame. An engine and a generator are integrated to one another in the engine/generator unit. The electrical component part controls the output of the engine/generator unit. The case accepts the electrical component part and the engine/generator unit. The vertical frame wall is installed in the cross direction of the engine generator. The center frame is expanded from the space between a central part(25e) of the bottom cover end and an upper center part(26a) of the vertical frame wall. The center frame is arranged in the upper part of the engine/generator unit. A frame member is composed with the bottom cover and the vertical frame wall. The vertical frame wall is 'T' shape on a floor plan.
