<p>A device for securing loads consists of a floor of a car or van boot provided with longitudinal and transverse grooves into which are slotted retaining pieces and separating walls. The retaining pieces may be simple stopping plates or be designed as blocks or S-strips in order to reduce the space between retaining piece and package. The vehicle walls may also be provided with grooves, which in this case are vertical and horizontal. A network of orthogonal grooves may be regular, i.e. all spaces being equal, or progressive, i.e. the spaces varying among the longitudinal and transverse axes.</p> |
