<p>The system (1) has a microphone (3) for acoustical detection of acoustic signals (S) in a workplace, and a loudspeaker (5) is provided for outputting a masking signal (G) to the workplace. A control unit (4) analyzes the detected acoustic signals for detecting the presence of voice signals, where the microphone, control unit and the loudspeaker are arranged in a housing (2). The loudspeaker outputs the masking signal when the presence of the voice signals is detected by the control unit, such that acoustic interferences in an inner side of the workplace is masked by using the masking signal. An independent claim is also included for a method for reducing acoustic interference.</p> |
