<p>PURPOSE: A Korean alphabet inputting device using a touch screen and a Korean alphabet inputting method are provided to enable a user to intuitively recognize an array rule of a consonant input unit and a vowel input unit, so as to easily input Korean alphabet. CONSTITUTION: In a consonant input unit(221), basic consonants are arranged on 10 key buttons in a second row and in a fifth column, respectively. In a vowel input unit(222), basic single vowels are arranged on 6 key buttons in a second row and in a third column, respectively. A double consonant converter converts some of the basic consonants. Sounds such as 'ya', 'yeo', 'yo', and 'yu' are repeatedly arranged on the basic single vowels. The vowel input unit is disposed on a right side of the consonant input unit.</p> |
