<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device speedily searching for the I picture required for summary reproduction without the need to read all stored transport streams (TSs). <P>SOLUTION: A storage device includes a means for storing input data on which a first packet and a second packet are multiplexed, the first packet storing data obtained by scrambling contents, and the second packet storing data, for descrambling the scrambled contents, encrypted by a prescribed encryption key. A time stamp is added to the first or the second packet, the time stamp storing information indicating a temporal reference in reproducing data stored in the first or the second packet after storing the first or the second packet in the storage means. Information is generated which indicates a position in the storage means for storing the packet with the time stamp obtained by adding the time stamp, and the time stamp is made corresponding to storage position information corresponding to the packet with the time stamp to which the time stamp is added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
