<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solidify petroleum residues taken out of a petroleum refining facility and to stably supply it as fuel for a furnace or the like by retaining a solid state. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel supply method for petroleum residues is for solidifying the petroleum residues taken out from the petroleum refining facility to supply it as fuel. Solid fuel 6 is obtained by contacting the petroleum residues 2 and liquified natural gas 5, cooling the petroleum residues 2 by vaporizing the liquefied natural gas 5 and using heat of vaporization of becoming vaporized natural gas 5a, and solidifying it.
