<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent heat accumulation on a tip of an endoscope by moving the heat of an imaging equipment to longitudinal behind of an endoscope system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The endoscope system comprises an imaging unit 5, a heat transfer member 6 contacting the imaging unit 5, and a cooling element 7 contacting the heat transfer member 6. The heat transfer member 6 is arranged between the imaging unit 5 and the cooling element 7 so as to isolate the cooling element 7 from the imaging unit 5.
