<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the game property by sustaining a player's sense of expectancy. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes: an image display part 104 for variably displaying, stopping/displaying symbols; a ROM 252 for storing a plurality of kinds of symbol variation patterns; a CPU 251 for displaying symbols in the image display part 104 by using a symbol variation pattern selected from the plurality of symbol variation patterns; an RTC 247 for clocking the current time; and a CPU 261 for controlling lamps in the game machine.
