<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding file can facilitate attaching work and detaching work of a fixing tool. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The binding file has a file cover sheet body 12 having back cover sheet section 13. Further, the binding file is equipped with a binding tool 14 secured to the inner face of the back cover sheet section 13 and binding articles to be bound. Furthermore, the binding file is equipped with the fixing tool 15 for securing the binding tool 14 to the back cover sheet section 13 only the operation from the one side of the inner face side and the outer face side of the back cover sheet section 13. Additionally, the back cover sheet section 13 has the first engaging holes 19, and the binding tool 14 has the second engaging holes 15. The fixing tool 15 has engaging pawls 36. The engaging pawls 36 have an inserting section 36a insertable into the first engaging holes 19 and the second engaging holes 23 and pawl sections 36b capable of being engaged with either one of the back cover sheet section 13 and the binding tool 14, which is located in the front end side in an inserting direction of the inserting section 36a.
