PURPOSE: A method for controlling a driving motor of an electric vehicle is provided to secure control stability of a driving motor by providing an optimum control method of the driving motor according to a voltage change of a DC terminal at a hybrid vehicle and a fuel cell vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An optimum approximation regression model between a motor control map driving point and a driving condition of a driving motor is calculated. The optimum approximation regression model is inputted to a motor control logic of a driving point decision part(S31). The driving point decision part receives a driving condition of a present driving motor. A correcting value of the motor control map driving point is calculated by the optimum approximation regression model after using a motor control parameter as an input variable(S32). A new driving point is generated by correcting the driving point extracted from the motor control map as the correcting value(S33). A motor driving is controlled according to the new driving point(S36).
