<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a secondary battery, in which the local temperature rise in the battery interior can be prevented even in charge/discharge at a high output, at a high voltage and a large current. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode for a secondary battery is configured such that an electrode layer on a substrate is composed of a plurality of fine cells having different resistance values or capacities.
