<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation structure of a resin cover member for an outboard motor, which can suppress increase in size and weight of the resin cover member, and tighten a fixation bolt with appropriate fastening force. <P>SOLUTION: An opening peripheral edge 8a of the resin cover member 8 for covering a rotation body in an upper section of an engine and a fixed-side seat face to each other. A spacer 11 is inserted from the bottom face side of a through-hole 8b with an inner diameter of D0 formed in the opening peripheral edge 8a. The resin cover member 8 is fixed on the fixed-side seat with an anchoring bolt 9 penetrating the spacer 11. The size of each part in the fixation structure is determined by D1>d1>D2>d2, L1≥L2, d3>D0, and D3>D0, wherein d1 represents an outer diameter of a front edge threaded-part 9a of the anchoring bolt 9; d2 represents an outer diameter of a shaft part 9c; d3 represents an outer diameter of a washer part 9d; D1 represents an inner diameter of a large-diameter hole part 11a of the spacer 11; D2 represents an inner diameter of a small-diameter hole part 11b; D3 represents an outer diameter of a flange part 11c; L1 represents a length of the large-diameter hole part 11a; and L2 represents a length of the front edge threaded-part 9a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
