<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic clinical thermometer having excellent assemblability because of being formed so that a wide range area is opened. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electronic clinical thermometer 1 includes cases 10a, 10b having a hollow inside; a temperature sensor 3 arranged on the tip on one end side in the longitudinal direction of the hollow inside of the cases 10a, 10b; and an internal component 2 connected to the temperature sensor 3 through a lead wire 3a, and arranged on the other end side in the longitudinal direction of the hollow inside of the cases 10a, 10b. The cases 10a, 10b are divided so that an opening for mounting the temperature sensor 3 and the internal component 2 inside the cases is formed with a size for opening a domain from an arrangement domain of the temperature sensor 3 to an arrangement domain of the internal component 2 along the longitudinal direction.
