APPARATUS FOR OPTICAL SYSTEM FOR SCANNER

PURPOSE: An optical system for a scanner which directly scans an object with a curved surface is provided to produce a very small scanner by reducing the space light passes through using a light guide plate and a light sensor array. CONSTITUTION: A pattern(11) is formed on one side of a light guide plate(10). A light source is located in one side of the light guide plate. The light source illuminates the light guide plate. An optical sensor array(30) is located on the opposite side of the surface of the pattern. The photo sensor array senses the light. The light is reflected on the surface of the scanned object. The light penetrates the light guide plate. The photo sensor array is formed with a plurality of optical sensor units. The light guide plate is bent against the curved surface of the scanned object.
